The 200 Series is Centor’s flagship range of products, featuring a solid wood interior for warmth and thermally-improved aluminum exterior for longevity. Concealed hardware ensures an elegant connection between inside and out, while innovative screens and shades are built into the frame to control insects, sunlight and privacy – enabling inside-outside living without the compromises.

Products available in our 200 Series include folding, double-swing and sliding doors, and folding and fixed-lite windows.

Insect screens and shades

Configurations

With three options to choose between, there’s a configuration that suits every need.

Single: Doors up to 16' (4877mm) wide can be fitted with a single screen or shade that extends from one side of the door frame and covers the full width of the opening.

Combination: Doors up to 16' (4877mm) wide can have a combination of two fabric types, with one housed in each side of the door frame, such as a screen from the left and a shade from the right.

Double: Doors between 16' (4877mm) and 30’ 11 ⅜” (9434mm) wide can include either screens or shades (i.e. one fabric option), which meet along the opening.

Insect screens

Choose between two types of mesh and enjoy fresh air and an evening breeze without the inconvenience of insects. The mesh also acts as an anti-glare sunshade on bright, sunny days.

Standard weave

Our standard weave screen keeps insects like moths, flies and mosquitoes outside, while standing the test of time with a durable polyester/PVC mesh construction.

Tight weave

Our tight weave mesh is made from the same durable material as our standard weave, but features a smaller aperture to protect homeowners against tiny insects like midges.

Shades

Centor’s unique, retractable light-filtering and block-out shades are available in a choice of three stylish patterns and a range of colors to suit every home.

Light-filtering

This translucent blind material allows natural light inside while protecting from harsh sun and glare during the day and provides homeowners with a degree of privacy in the evening.

Block-out

Our block-out shade is room-darkening, excluding light and providing complete privacy when drawn. It improves the U-value of the door by 17% when drawn across the opening.

Centor doors are made with aluminum on the exterior for durability and ease of maintenance. Select one of our standard colors from the list below or specify your own custom color – we can match other manufacturer’s colors in North America, making us an ideal choice for your renovation.

Hinged doors and windows

Our folding, double-swing and single doors provide a seamless aesthetic, thanks to hardware that’s hidden from sight. Entrance handles and locking bolts have been replaced by Centor’s Access AutoLatch™ and AutoLatch™ – a hidden lever is simply lifted to open the doors from the inside. On the exterior, a slimline vertical pull-handle allows panels to be opened with ease. On folding doors, the concealed hinge is hidden within the edge of the door.

You can open Centor doors with ease as soon as the weather allows, thanks to carriers that feature large wheels and custom-made bearings. According to architect Paul, this smooth operation is reminiscent of closing the door of a high-quality motor car: “When you close the door on an Aston Martin, it feels good. When you open and close these doors, they feel good.”

Allowing for imperfect building sites and settling over time, the carriers and pivots are laterally and vertically adjustable by your Centor Dealer, so the doors will continue to glide with ease for years to come.

Sliding doors

Centor’s sliding doors glide with ultimate ease, thanks to impressively large stainless steel wheels with durable stainless steel bearings that run on a solid stainless steel track.

The interior handle of our sliding doors features a wood trim that’s matched to the door frame, with the handle acting as a stop for the insect screen, ensuring that it only covers the open area of the door.
